Terms & Conditions of Membership

Each member must represent the profession that is either their main business or is a substantial part of their business activity.  Only one core activity can be represented at the meeting – if a member wishes to represent other areas of their business, other than the one originally listed on their application form, they need to seek permission from SG1-BUSINESS CLUB committee.

If a member wants to change the profession that they are registered for, providing that profession is not already represented in their group, simply discuss it with the SG1-Business Club committee and submit a new application form to SG1-BUSINESS CLUB.  No additional fees apply.

If a member cannot attend a meeting, they should arrange for a representative to attend in their place. 
If a member fails to attend regularly SG1-BUSINESS CLUB reserves the right to review and revoke their membership.  A leave of absence is possible in certain circumstances and should be discussed with SG1-BUSINESS CLUB committee.

Membership fees are payable annually. The initial fee for the first year includes a joining fee that is payable only once in the life of the membership, as long as the annual membership is paid by the renewal date.
Renewal notices will be sent out approximately one month before the renewal is due and payment must be received by the renewal date in order for the membership to continue. If payment it is not received within 14 days of the renewal date, the membership will cease.

In the event that a member wants to terminate their membership, whatever the reason, the fees are not refundable.  In the unlikely case of membership being terminated by SG1-BUSINESS CLUB for whatever reason, the fees are not refundable.

In the unlikely event of conflict or complaint, please contact SG1-BUSINESS CLUB committee directly who will make every effort to resolve the problem. 

SG1-BUSINESS CLUB reserves the right to judge each case separately and any decision will not be considered a precedent.

To help grow the club, it is expected that you will invite your business contacts to the club meetings providing these contacts do not conflict with a current member. Visitors are allowed to attending two meeting before joining the club.
